It is amusing what preconceived notions people have about hiring an accountability coach.
Some assume I will be a drill sergeant yelling at them for not hitting deadlines while others come believing I have some magic money attracting trick.
I am quick to share that is not what my service actually entails. There is no yelling, there are no get rich quick schemes. There is me, you, the truth of where you are at, and the vision for where you are going.

What actually happens in an accountability session?
We will take a deep dive into your goals to outline a detailed vision of what success looks like for you. Why? Because every person has their own vision of success.
Example: Some families measure success not by your educational pedigree or accomplishments but by how well you raise your children.
This is not the same as my personal definition of success. For me, my success is defined by how many people I can mobilize to achieve their goals.
It is important to know what you want for yourself, not what others want for you when you come book a call. This means I will ask some questions to be sure I can provide the right resources and guidance for YOU.
Wait, Tirzah then what does accountability mean when working with you?
Accountability coaching means reminding you of what you are working towards when tasks feel too hard, you are too tired(like I am while writing this post), or you fall short. Learn how to get people to put some RESPEK on your name as you build your brand even if you are considered the black sheep in your family for wanting to do something different than staying in a 9-to-5.
Ultimately, I help you to rewrite narratives that shape your current reality to foster new habits.
This process requires honesty with yourself and me. I will help you build systems, network contacts, and lists of resources to maximize your growth potential.
It isn’t all work and no play though. I will also be there to celebrate your wins with you every step of the way and isolate ways you can do even better the next week.

Self-care is such a buzzword right now…so here I am throwing this post out there for anyone who is willing and able to read it.
As someone who has…
Read an excessive amount of self-help books searching for answers.
Faced the fact that I have 1000 ideas per day and only 24 hours.
Been through my own personal hell and back a multitude of times.
Been super overwhelmed by life, debt, shortcomings etc.
The best advice I can give is to…keep a journal.
(This is the part where you picture me on a soapbox)
Keeping a journal is one of the best possible gifts you can give yourself because it shows progress.
See all the things you have overcome.
Give yourself permission to boast about your wins.
Share honestly with yourself about what could be improved.
Create a timeline of how much you were able to endure and keep going.
Gain clarity to see patterns in the ebb and flow of when you are inspired and when you are overwhelmed.
Fight off the negative talk of others in your mind with receipts of your progress.
…and most of all be the hero in your own story.
We move through time in such a linear way, we sometimes forget to look at how far we have come.
When we become so damnenveloped in trying to get where we want to be, we often also forget where we are now.
(I am super guilty of this so I can speak from experience. And believe me, I get it. You have goals. I do too. However, we have to be aware of what steps we are capable of now, in the present, to get there.)
Be gentle with yourself. All you have is now. Today. This moment. You DO NOT have to write a book.
It can literally be as simple as a list of 3 things you are grateful for today and 3 ways you can improve for tomorrow.
Start each day with intention and end each night in reflection. Watch how quickly your life changes and how much peace will flow into your world when you can sleep knowing you get a fresh chance to start again tomorrow with notes on how to do and be better.
Whether you are like me and keep a notebook in every corner of your room, use a Panda Planner, use The 5-minute Journal or the back of bill envelopes that are stressing you out…
Find a way to get what is circling your mind out on paper. Powerful things happen when your thoughts are manifested on a page in pen.
Count your wins and watch how many cool things you make happen daily.

Create Twitter Lists
Lists allow you to organize the people you follow by category so that you can easily see what subjects are trending in a specific subject
Use the settings icon that appears on each image of a person you follow to add a person to a specific list/create a list.

Use hashtags (#). Tweets with hashtags generate 33% more engagement. Tweets with 1 hashtag perform better by 69% than posts with two.

Tweets with the most engagement are 71–100 characters
Use line breaks to grab people’s attention.
To boost your following quickly, go live using Periscope. Tweet 30 minutes before to go live to let people know what topic you will discuss. Then sign on when you’re ready to start a live conversation with your audience.
Unlike other social media platforms, you can tweet up 30+ times a day without upsetting your audience as long as you are providing value. Share a lot of content(even if it is not your own)
Put links 25% of the way into your tweet to optimize for engagement and use a URL shortener like https://bitly.com to keep things professional.
Include photos on your posts to boost engagement by an average of 34%.
First Rule of Twitter. You Don’t Talk About Twitter.
DON’T YELL AT PEOPLE!! Only use one exclamation mark in your posts and leave the caps lock off. It causes anxiousness, and not in a good way. You can add one at either the end of your first sentence or the end of your last.
Do NOT write “Check out my latest …” or “Click here” ever. Get straight to the point.
Do Not talk about yourself too much in your tweets. Twitter is passive-aggressive and will pass on hard sells.
Don’t @ people unless you are adding value to the conversation.
End as many tweets as you can with a call to action or a question. This will boost your engagement
Do not be overly negative. People use social media as a means of escapism. Being critical is fine, but negativity isn’t beneficial for growth.
Be someone you would want your children/siblings to look up to. You never know who you are inspiring.
